What to have ready

Your Medtech facility ID · a work email address · your enrolled patient count, if you are a GP practice · a card, your bank account details, or ask us to invoice you

The facility ID is the one thing you cannot start without, so find it before you sit down. Everything else about your practice comes from Medtech once you are connected. Look it up on Health NZ’s facility code table, or contact Medtech if you have any trouble.

Nothing is set up until payment clears. Paying by card starts everything straight away. Paying from your bank account starts it once the payment clears, usually within two business days. Choosing an invoice (due in 7 days) means setup starts once it is paid, so if it goes into a monthly run, that is when your practice gets going.

Paying for more than one clinic? Add them all on the first screen, one facility ID each. One subscription, one invoice, and you set them all up yourself. Bring every facility ID with you.
