The best way to get images into Medtech.
Clinical photos and documents go straight into the patient’s Medtech record, filed by whoever took them rather than passed to someone else to sort out. No emailing reception, no resizing, no copy left on a phone.
Never touches your camera roll. Already sitting in HealthLink and ERMS when you write the referral.

Built by Dr Ryo Eguchi
Practising GP & Founder · Auckland, NZ
Patients can also upload images and files directly, using a one-off unique link.
Privacy & compliance
One copy. In Medtech. Nowhere else.
Built to meet the rules that govern clinical software in New Zealand: HIPC 2020, Privacy Act 2020 s11, HISO 10029.
Never saved to phone
Photos commit straight to Medtech. Camera roll, iCloud, Google Photos never touched.
NZ + AU residency
App on Vercel Sydney. ALEX proxy on AWS Lightsail Sydney, static IP allow-listed by Medtech.
HIPC + Privacy Act
Agent of your practice under Privacy Act 2020 s11. DPA on request.
Full audit trail
Practitioner ID, facility ID, timestamp per commit. EXIF and GPS stripped automatically.
What it does
Capture is for everyone at the clinic, not just the GPs.
For example, a GP capturing a lesion for a referral, a nurse capturing a wound at a dressing change, reception sending a patient a link to upload their ID or a form. Same app, same subscription, no per-user fee.
Verified · ALEX® PartnerMedtech partnership

Launch from inside Medtech Evolution, and write straight back into the record. No searching for the patient on your phone after you’ve already found them on the desktop. Click, scan, and you’re already there.

The icon, inside Evolution

Scan to open Capture

Use your phone to capture images
Photograph a lesion and be done before the patient leaves the room.
- Scan the QR code in Evolution, the patient is already loaded
- Take the photo in the browser, nothing to install
- Lands in Inbox Scan, sized and formatted

Skip the resizing, renaming and importing
The photo arrives ready, so nobody has to fix it afterwards.
- Sized and converted on the way through
- Files itself into the right patient’s record
- Reception is no longer the bottleneck

Use annotation to show exactly what you mean
Point at the exact lesion, so nobody downstream has to guess.
- Draw an arrow or a circle on the photo
- Tag the body site on a map
- Both travel with the image into the record

Ask patients to upload images or files
Get the photo you are missing without booking another appointment.
- A one-off unique link to their phone, good for 72 hours
- They confirm their date of birth first
- Photos or documents, several at once

Use it away from the practice
Keep capturing on a home visit, with no practice computer in sight.
- Search by NHI when there is no QR code to scan
- One-off account setup, four steps, done once
Nothing stored on the way
Keep images off phones and out of email
Nothing in a camera roll, nothing in a cloud drive, nothing in an inbox.
- Never saved to the camera roll or a cloud drive
- Passes through our Sydney servers, never stored
- Location data stripped, every upload logged
Every screen above is the real thing. The full walkthrough, for staff and for whoever sets the practice up, is on the how-to page.

Pricing
One subscription.
Every staff member.
For GP practices, priced by your enrolled patient count. Find your band, that is your price.
Every other kind of clinic is quoted directly, because an enrolled count does not describe you.
For GP practices with an enrolled population
| Enrolled patients | Monthly cost |
|---|---|
| Up to 2,000 | NZ$25 |
| 2,001 to 4,000 | NZ$67 |
| 4,001 to 7,000 | NZ$125 |
| 7,001 to 50,000 | From NZ$125 |
| Above 50,000 | Contact |
Not a GP practice?
If your clinic doesn’t have enrolled patients the way a GP practice does, these prices won’t fit. That includes skin and lesion clinics, urgent care, specialist rooms, podiatry and wound care.
Email me and we’ll work out the right price for you.
Email ryo@clinicpro.co.nzAll prices exclude GST and are billed monthly. Cancel anytime. Your price is set from the enrolled patient count you give us when you subscribe, and it appears on your invoice. Tell us if it changes materially and we’ll adjust it.
Above 7,000 there is no flat jump to a new tier. NZ$125 covers the first 7,000, and each block above that is charged at a lower rate than the block below it. Enter your patient count when you sign up and the exact figure is calculated and shown to you before you pay. Past 50,000 we quote individually.
Every plan includes guided onboarding and ALEX connection. No setup fee, no per-image charges, no hidden costs.
30-day money-back guarantee. Doesn’t fit your workflow, email ryo@clinicpro.co.nz within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked.
Onboarding
Set up once. The whole practice follows.
One admin sets up the practice, once. From there, staff have two ways to start: scan a QR code inside Medtech Evolution and go straight to capturing, or log in manually when they’re away from the practice computer.
Admin, one-time
Do it when you can · before payment is fine
The ClinicPro Launcher icon
The one part of setup you can do before paying. It puts a ClinicPro button inside Medtech Evolution, so a clinician can start a capture from the patient already on screen. Ten minutes, once, for the whole practice.

Start capturing
Scan QR code or search NHI
Staff, optional (NHI search or off-site)
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Open ClinicPro from Evolution | At a practice computer, click the ClinicPro Launcher icon. Evolution tells us which staff member you are, so there is nothing to pick from a list. |
| 2. Choose "Using ClinicPro off site?" | On the screen that appears, enter your work email. |
| 3. Confirm by email code | A code is emailed to you, entered once. |
| 4. Sign in when you use it | Setting the account up is the one-time part. Signing in is not: NHI search asks you to sign in, deliberately, because it reaches patient data away from the practice. |
For staff who search by NHI instead of scanning the Launcher icon, or who need Capture away from the practice computer, such as a rest-home visit. One-time per staff member; new staff who join later follow the same steps, at no extra cost. The staff how-to walks through it with screenshots.

Security & compliance
You don’t need a security specialist to vet this.
Under the Health Information Privacy Code, your practice still carries a duty to have reasonable safeguards in place when connecting a third party to Medtech, even though we hold the data. Most practices don’t have a security specialist on staff to check that themselves, so we’ve done it the way Medtech itself requires:
“The Medtech Partnership Programme tests and vets the security of all third parties, applications and health services and requires your practice consent for all connections to your PMS.”Medtech Global, Medtech Evolution product page
Capture is a certified Medtech ALEX integration partner. Every hop, phone, Vercel Sydney, the ALEX proxy on AWS Lightsail, Medtech’s own gateway, stays inside Australia and New Zealand, and location metadata is stripped from every photo automatically. If your practice runs the RNZCGP Foundation Standard’s IT security checklist as part of accreditation, this is the material to run it against.

Staff adoption
No training session to schedule.
In the clinic, staff scan the QR code from the Launcher icon and are straight in, no login at all. Working off site takes a one-off email confirmation, no shared logins, no per-device setup. The interface is a camera and an upload button, nothing a GP or nurse has to learn from scratch, so most people are capturing within their first minute.
If it doesn’t work out
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| 30-day guarantee | Doesn’t fit your workflow, email us within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked. |
| Cancel anytime | Monthly billing, no lock-in contract, no exit fee. |
| No vendor trap | If ClinicPro ever stopped operating, the photos already in your patient records aren’t going anywhere, they were never held anywhere else. |
| Independently vetted | Capture is security-vetted by Medtech before your practice can connect, through the Medtech Partnership Programme, not a self-issued claim. |

Capture is built by Dr Ryo Eguchi, a practising GP in Auckland, and is a product of NexWave Solutions Limited, an official Medtech integration partner. Questions, onboarding, and support come to me directly, not a support queue.

“I built Capture because I kept watching Medtech practices lose time on photos every single day. As a GP, I knew the workarounds weren’t good enough for privacy or workflow. This is the tool I wanted in clinic. Open your phone browser, take the photo. It is in Medtech.”

Yours,
Ryo Eguchi.
